This photograph shows Pedro Acosta in action at Portimao for the Grande Prémio de Portugal, where the rookie would take his first ever MotoGP podium. At the age of just 19 years old, the Spaniard became the third youngest MotoGP Podium sitter of all-time!
This young and talented rider went on to take a 2nd place in the following race, and a further three throughout the season - bringing his total tally up to 5! This future champion has a long career ahead of him and it is certain that this is the first podium, of many more to come.
This shot, captured by infamous motorsport photographer James Moy, shows Acosta at his finest. His full bodyweight over the bike as he takes his Red Bull GAS GAS Tech3 KTM through the fast left-hander.
